I remeber seeing this video and thinking," That made no sense but it was very sweet." Cake didn't have too many chart toppers as I recall. 1996s " The Distance" and 1998s "Never There" are the only hits that come to my mind. They had a couple of other hits.
They did a cover of "I will survive".
They also released a single I think was called (I wanna girl with a) "short skirt and a long jacket" which was quite a funky tune :)

I really don't like The Distance... but I love all their other songs. Never There, Daria, Cool Blue Reason, Frank Sinatra, No Phone....
