Subject: XM Radio (90's Marathon)

Written By: JunoD on 09/11/06 at 1:52 pm

For those of you who have "XM Satellite Radio", they have this program they run every year at the end of summer called "IT: The History of Pop Music"

What they do is play EVERY song that ever charted from 1930 until 1999.  This year they've expanded it from about 1920 until 2006.  It takes them about 2 months to complete it playing it non-stop without any breaks.

Starting at 6pm Eastern / 3pm Pacific today (Monday, September 11th) on the "90's on 9" Channel on XM Satellite Radio they will begin the 90's portion of the program.  They will start from January 1990 and go all the way until September 2006.  It will probably take them about 2 weeks playing it non-stop to complete it.

They'll play every song that ever charted in the 90's throughout the program, so you can hear every song from the 90's within a week.  It really is awesome.  And if you have XM Satellite Radio and you're a 90's fan, this is just for you  :)
