Subject: Top 100 Greatest Music Videos of All Time ranked by Rolling Stone & MTV (1999)

Written By: woops on 10/14/06 at 2:22 pm

The list is old, though the only decent list of videos of the 1980's & 1990's... though "Express Yourself" is one of the worst Madonna videos and wouldn't put "Addicted To Love" in the top 10. Also "Sweet Child O' Mine" is an average video, along with several on the list. And many omissions like Neil Young "This Note's For You", Soundgarden "Black Hole Sun", Jane's Addiction "Been Caught Stealing", The Cars "Drive", Whitesnake "Here I Go Again", Debbie Gibson Foolish Beat, Motley Crue "Home Sweet Home", Thomas Dolby "She Blinded Me With Science", Talking Heads "Burning Down The House",  Living Colour "Cult Of Personality", Genesis "Land Of Confusion", Wax "California", etc.

Though this predates White Stripes "Fell In Love With A Girl" and Fountains Of Wayne "Stacy's Mom".

I think both lists are pretty bad.
