i remember the old taco bell commercials with the cartoon cat and the dog and how they used to advertise what new toys there were...they dont do that anymore...

I loved it. In fact, I still have a Here Lizard, Lizard, Lizard T-shirt I got when that was in its peak in 1998 (I wear it quite a bit, which gets me alot of comments. Anyone over 13-14 now probably remembers it pretty well). The commercials were great, especially when they went beyond the simple "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" ones.
BTW, the real dog was actually a female, which I was a little surprised when I heard about it on an E.T. special at the time. But hey, it's not like it mattered! ;)

I like the National Anthem ad, where he says, in a mock somber/crying voice with the Hispanic accent, "Bless you, Taco Bell". :)
