as a grammar-schooler of the nineties, i remember rice krispy treats, baby bottle pops, push pops.  flintstone push ups..(those shebert treats) and pop rocks.

i really don't remember any actual FOOD being popular in the 90s, but like everyone else I definitely remember rice krispie treats, push pops, etc. being extremely popular. Also, I remember eating a lot of Pizza Lunchables and how they did a lot of advertising in the 90s.

At my schools in the 90's lunchables were pretty popular.

Actual food wasn't really any different than now, but I'd agree that snacks, cereals and junk food were quite common. Probably moreso than today, at least with the way it was advertized. Lunchables seem quite 1994 to me, lol.

Snackwells also started around then, which might've started the more "healthy snacks" that seem to be a little more pervasive now.
