this is one of the top 5 best movies i've ever seen, along with 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and 'Three Women'. it was released in 1990, and was directed by Hal Hartley. it stars Adrienne Shelley, who was killed last year and who wrote, directed and acted in 'Waitress' (2006).
