The Colorado Buffaloes claim college football's national championship with a 10-9 win over Notre Dame in the 1991 Orange Bowl. Controversy reigns as Colorado wins the AP poll, but Georgia Tech, the nation's only unbeaten team (with one tie), edges Colorado to win the UPI national championship by one point.

Is there a possibility you can make a serious thread? I'm not being disrespectful or anything, I'm seriously just wondering.

Personally I love 1991, both pop culturally and for personal memories (which was a step up after '90 and I started getting used to my "new" life at the time). In terms of entertainment, I associate it with Super Nintendo, VH1 and MTV, Ernest movies, Paula Abdul and stuff like that.

1991 was a fun 90s year - the summer was great!

Out of that list I'm going for cds! I normally love my retro, but I was glad to see the end of cassettes and vinyl.

1991 was such a good year for me, I was living with my grandparents and my uncle in a big extended family - wonderful times. If only I realised how wonderful they were.

haha, Bill, you're too darn funny!

Well, 1991 was memorable for a few reasons. We got a total makeover with our front and backyards and they both turned out beautiful! It pretty much took the whole summer to do it, but it was worth it when the summer of '92 came around. Lots of pool parties!  :) Also, we went and saw a lot of movies that year.
Yet, there was a sad incident that marked that year for us, in which my 15 year old cousin died in a car accident. It's hard to believe she's been gone from us for almost 17 years  :(

I can't remember a whole lot from '91, but what I do remember of it was great since I was only 4. No school, no worries :)

After finishing the 1992 fashion collage for my website (I mentioned that one in this reply), I've finished the 1991 and 1990 ones. These are the final ones.

I'm going to put both in this topic, although it's a 1991 topic:

In particular, when the CD's of Color Me Badd, KLF, Prince's Diamonds and Pearls, Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion 1 and 2, and Marky Mark were released, lol. Oh, and the Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack. Earlier that year I was still listening to cassette tapes.

1991 was the last year we went camping as a family. It was when I got my first bass. I was sick a lot and missed a lot of school, I couldn’t even work that summer. I finally would have my second big surgery in the fall. I bought my 2nd tape at Tape World in the mall, the self titled album from Wilson Phillips. I listened to it so much I wore it out and had to buy a replacement.
