Subject: I need help with a song!

Have you ever had that annoying experience where a song from the past just pops in your head but you can't remember all the words or, worse, who sang it? Yeah, well it just happened to me. There was a song from the 90s (thinking mid-90s, like 94-96) sung by a female artist or band whose chorus was something like "what I need has been done before. What I need is the simple things." Something to that effect.
My first thought was Belly, but realized that the song was far too poppy for them. Sounded much more like a Moonpools and Caterpillars type song. But I just can't seem to think of it! Help, it's driving me crazy!

actually, nevermind. evidently my memory is pretty good. the song is "hear," from the pink cd of---moonpools and caterpillars. damn, that's an awesome feeling!
