Subject: A video I put together dedicated to the 90s (lots of music/images):

Written By: Casino on 11/19/09 at 1:06 am

Hey. I'm pretty new here and I came across this board because I feel very nostalgic whenever I see/hear something from the 90s by Googling "1990s nostalgia". I created this video in dedication to what I remember from this decade. I was born in 1990 but I remember everything from 1993 and up very clearly.

j1BrdJQiLGk&fmt=18 - Let me know what you think, you might like it ...

So many great things came from the 90s, in my opinion. I wish I could go on vacation to the early 90s, I'd pay so much for that to happen but it never will.

By the way, I'm sure if I experienced the 80s or the 70s I'd have lots of great things to say about it, but I can't talk about it much unless I've actually lived through it. I'm not that fond of the late 2000s to be honest. Everything seems so fake, too. Things just aren't what they used to be...

P.S. Here's the tracklist in case you haven't looked at the description of my video. I know I should've fit more songs in such as "Would I lie to you" by Charles & Eddie, but yeah, here:

1. Ace of Base - I saw the sign
2. Eiffel 65 - Blue
3. Vengaboys - We like to party
4. Fatboy Slim - Right here, Right now
5. La Bouche - Be my lover
6. Amber - This is your night
7. Haddaway - What is love
8. No Mercy - Where do you go
9. Fatboy Slim - Praise you
10. House of pain - Jump
11. Prodigy - Sack my bitch up
12. OMC - How Bizarre
13. Fatboy Slim - The Rockafeller Skank
14. Real McCoy - Run Away
15. Moby - Porcelain
16. Santana - Smooth
17. Will Smith - Men in black
18. Culture Beat - Mr. Vain
19. Barenaked Ladies - One week
20. Londonbeat - I've been thinking about you
21. Moby - South side

If you like 90s Dance/Eurodance music, I might post one of my 1 hour mixes sometime. I'm a DJ.

That video is the GHEY! :D

You got Mister Rogers in there.  When I think Mister Rogers' Neighbourhood, the 90s doesn't come to mind

In my video I included thing that happened to be really popular in the 90s lol, and Mr Rogers was one of them (I know he was on TV decades before)

Mr Rogers gave a speech before his death being surprised and proud that he inspired every generation after him with his show.  IMO, he definitely in the top 10 in 20th century pop culture.

I love dance music, especially mid-late 90s. None of that cheesy 'Gonna Make You Sweat' crap. Real McCoy, Amber, Eiffel 65, Moby, La Bouche, Corona, etc.

Oh, "Another Night", "This Is Your Night" (which are practically the same song) and "Blue" are equally as cheesy as "Gonna Make You Sweat". :D  It's all fun.  :)

Let me rephrase that: I like the 90s dance music with ample synthesizers, good beats and chords, good background music. If Gonna Make You Sweat had different background music, maybe something a little more trance/techno-y, I'd love it.

Techno/dance music has always been more about the background music than the lyrics. 'Blue' was a hit, wasn't it?  ;D
