Subject: Best and Worst Films of 1991

Written By: Ryan112390 on 03/11/10 at 3:35 pm

It doesn't have to be the opinion of Ebert & Roper, nor the ''best and worst'' reviewed films of each year, but it can be or it can simply be your own personal best and worst list from this year.
Go.

I didn't see lots of movies in the early 90's; I mainly waited until they came out on video before I even saw part of them. I agree with Jamie about Beauty And The Beast being one of the best, since I later saw it on video and enjoyed it; I also agree about Hook as one of the worst, since I didn't much care for it.

I remember Misery being pretty okee-dokee.  Or was that 1990.  Eh, don't matter.  The book was better, as is usually the case...

Dang, I can barely remember the flicks I watched that year.  Um, Truth Or Dare (or something) - a doc about Madonna.  Don't remember anything about it.  Star Trek VI, IMO, was only slightly better than V (which ain't sayin' much).  All I remember about LA Story was how hot Sarah Jessica Parker looked in spandex and something about enemas...

Addams Family sucked.  I'm pretty sure Other People's Money sucked or I'd remember it better.  Backdraft was okay - better than a poke in the eye, in any case.  Silence of the Lambs - WAAAAAY overrated flick.  Terminator 2 sucked...

A forgettable year for movies, 1991...

I was only a little kid so I didn't care for Silence of the Lambs until I was older.  :-[

I agree with most of these, but I would move Point Break up the best, and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey down to the worst. I would also add Defending Your Life to the best, and add Drop Dead Fred to the worst.

Terminator 2

This movie was the bomb.  It doesn't help that the media was shilling the crap of it.

I couldn't agree more on Robin Hood Prince of Thieves for the best list!

This is why.
