Question:
Around what year in the '90s did the big hair look (like the below image) finally fade out for women?

I looked at a lot of old yearbooks at my high school, and I noticed a lot of girls still wore their hair that way until around 1992. Afterward, I noticed a more diverse range of hairstyles being adopted, such as "simple and straight", as the 1993 yearbook put it. :)

By 1994 that kind of hair was dead.
I've seen pics from 1993 and a few girls still have that hair style. But by 1994 it wasn't 'in' anymore.

It's kind of amazing, in general, how different 1990-1992 were from 1994-1996.
