Subject: 90's drinks

Written By: JaxRhapsody on 09/01/11 at 5:27 pm

My favorites were Kick, Surge and Josta.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josta I would love to have one of these again.
Orbitz
There was a drink similar to Orbitz which would be sold in ManAlive stores in the local malls.
I'll also add Sprite Remix and Mr. PiBB(Not PiBB xtra, even though I do like it)

I was finally legal to drink alcohol in the 90s, so I enjoyed (somewhat) Zima and some other drink that was juice with alcohol.  Name escapes me now.  :-\\

Wow. I remember Zimas. I remember another drink that was non-alcoholic that used a similar logo. It might have been SOBE.

Was it Alize' ? A kind of light orange juice with a tiny fizz and some alcohol..? There was a song about it.

Sort of dumb question.  Do they still make Zima?  I used to drink that stuff.

Squeezeits! Basically Kool-Aid, but they had this color changing one where you dropped in a little pellet that would make the drink into a new color (red, blue, etc.)

Pepsi Blue and Sprite Remix were early 2000s drinks and didn't exist in the '90s.

Surge and Crystal Pepsi are probably two of the most iconic soft drinks of the '90s.  Another one is Mr. Pibb.  Today there is Pibb Extra which is not the same as the old Mr. Pibb formula.  It changed in 2002.

The early 1990s still had New Coke available alongside Coca-Cola.

Surge, Josta, Vanilla Coke and Pepsi Blue (you can't beat those constant Rap Metal commercials) are among my favorite drinks from the 90's (yes, yes, I know. Two are early 00s blah blah blah). I remember trying Crystal Pepsi as a kid but I forgot what it tasted like since I only had it two or three times at birthday parties. There was also another drink called "All Sport" which was basically Pepsi's version of Gatorade and I liked that one quite a bit. I think that one stopped being sold around 2004 or 2005. I don't remember what other "90s specific" drinks I used to get.

I saw Dad's root beer today.  Wasn't aware it was hard to find.

Yep, Man Alive in Mall St. Matthews was the only place I saw those sold at, here. A clothing store none the less.
