Written By: belmont22 on 11/15/12 at 8:47 pm

Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996-2003)
Buffy (1997-2003)
Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2005)
Hey Arnold! (1996-2004)
Blue's Clues (1996-2006)
Rugrats (1991-2004)
Friends (1994-2004)
X-Files (1993-2002)

What are some others you can think of?

When the Simpsons end for one. Will it last until 2019 to make it 30 years?

The King of Queens:

1998-2007.

However I would consider it more a typical 00's show.

I'm pretty surprised it began that early!

King of the Hill ran from 1997 until 2010. I've always seen it as more of a "nineties" show, even though it was still aring throughout the entire 2000's.

You could also include Family Guy, which started in 1999 and hasn't ended yet, but that always felt more like an 00's show to me.

South Park too. I'd consider SP more of a 00s show since it remained such a huge part of pop culture as late as 2010, but it had a definite late 90s presence. The 90s South Park was in many ways almost a different show though, it was like an even more over the top Beavis and Butthead and mostly focused on being silly and offensive, while the 2000s/2010s South Park is more of a social commentary in the form of a cartoon.

I'd be tempted to call Blues Clues an 00s show. Also Everybody Loves Raymond.

Agreed.  I consider King of Queens and even Everybody Loves Raymond as an early '00s show being that its peak was in that era.

King of the hill lasted about two seasons too long. The last couple of season just didn't measure up.

Buffy was amazing and lasted just as long as it needed to. In fact I'd've loved an 8 th season.

I actually remember it from when it was new, but it wasn't very popular until it came out on DVD around 2003 or so and attained a cult following. I think the kind of humor in Family Guy just wasn't mainstream yet during its first run.

I actually remember watching the pilot episode. It debuted after the 1999 Super Bowl, so I was in the living room watching TV with my parents when it came on. I think we made it about two minutes into the show before my Dad got disgusted and changed the channel. :P

In Rugrats case, if you consider All Grown Up as an extension, it lasted up until 2008 and I consider it to be continuous.

Fraiser (1993-2004)
Law and Order (1990-2010)
NYPD Blue (1993-2005)
All That (1994-2005)
Supermarket Sweep (1990-2003) (No new episodes from 1995-2000, but remained popular in reruns, a la Rugrats)
Shop Til You Drop (1991-2005) (Interestingly this show went into repeats three times!)

Seinfeld (ended in 1998) could've waited one more year to make it to 10 years.
