A friend showed me this song, I'd never heard of it. I had no idea there was British hip hop from back in the day. Pretty cool song. :)

It was not a they, but a her. Betty Boo was Alison Clarkson and Doin' the Do was one of several hits she had in her native UK.
I remember this song well. It was a BIG hit here in Canada, and radio loved it. It never made the US Hot 100, but I do believe it topped the US Dance chart

Ahhh the gorgeous Betty Boo... half Scottish half Malaysian! Britain had a lot of hip hop acts - I'd call this more dance pop though.
