Subject: The evolution of graphic design in the '90s

Has anyone liked to browse stacks of old media, from books, magazines, even old TV across many decades? Like the 1960s, the '90s seemed to have a huge change in style in terms of graphic design on advertising, media, TV commercials, and general products. You can easily tell a pile of books/magazines/TV commercial from the early '90s compared to the late '90s, where it is a bit more difficult to do so for the '70s, '80s, and 2000s (especially the former two). (The Internet/mobile media is an important exception in that the 2000s had the bigger changes than the '90s). I feel that the rapid improvements in computer technology contributed to an explosion of fonts, colors, and graphic techniques to rapidly give that "moving foreward" vibe of the decade. It seems like there were fewer fonts in the early '90s and they tended to be blockier along with more serifs, and late in the '90s and beyond, "curvier", stuff like "curve swooshes" and other more abstract designs seemed to be used more frequently.

this is awfully close to decadalogy. If this is to stay, it really needs some pictures and examples to back up you points.
