I found this user on YouTube who makes pop culture nostalgia videos for different years. This person has 3 90's videos uploaded so far that are definitely worth checking out if you want to take a fun 9-12 min trip back to the past. Enjoy! 8)

Which country is the maker from? Because Teletubbies and Spice Girls are both in the 1997 video and yet:
If they're from the UK: Spice Girls are 1996
If they're from the US: Teletubbies are 1998
They even put an apology saying that the Macarena actually peaked in 1996. Am I the only one that can do stuff like this correctly?

I don't know where the maker is from, but I am curious because I pretty much noticed the same things you did. These videos aren't perfect, but hey, I think they're pretty damn solid for the most part!
Anyway, the maker has a website where he's taking suggestions for what year to do next and what pop culture moments you want to see for each year so everyone can voice their opinions here:
