Subject: Favorite Disney Renaissance soundtrack pop single?

Starting with Beauty and the Beast, Disney began recruiting pop artists to record versions of songs for commercial releases. These versions would also play during the end credits of the film.

Fun fact: "If I Never Knew You" as sung by the characters was cut from the film, but the pop version was still included in the end credits and released as the second single from the soundtrack.

I always liked listening to the "Circle of Life" because I liked The Lion King as a kid. That, and it's my favorite Disney Renaissance film.

"Someday" by All-4-One, with honorable mention going to "Colors of the Wind" by Vamessa Williams.

I voted for "Go the Distance" as I've always liked Michael Bolton's booming voice and it's a great song

Well... I remember really liking the title track from "Beauty And The Beast" when it was climbing the charts in 1992, and by the summer of that year it was one of my favorite pop songs.

However, "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and "Colors Of The Wind" are also two of my favorites. I did see The Lion King once, after it had already been released to video; but I have never seen Pocahontas.
