1993 was probably my favorite year for movies of the entire '90s. I was just getting to the point at that time where I was starting to pay more attention to pop culture and what movies were newly coming out. I wanted to see Jurassic Park so bad because I loved dinosaurs as a kid, but my parents wouldn't agree to go. The Sandlot is perhaps my favorite '90s kid movie, Mrs. Doubtfire was stupid but in a fun way, Free Willy is just iconic, and I've always loved sports movies, so Rudy is a favorite of mine to. That's just to name a few.

Sorry, even though I know it's a cop out, there's no way I could pick just five. The year was just too classic.

Will someone please tell me why so many people like the mid '90s (1993-1995)?

All of those movies were awful, in my opinion.

1993 & 1995 had some of the greatest films of all time. Now that's my opinion.

5. What's Eating Gilbert Grape (the guy's brother had... uh... autism if I recall? My parents saw it, I was 4 and sat in the theater with them.)
4. Dennis the Menace (Walter Matthau actually made me crack up and I remember my neighbor throwing the SNES game based off it out the window.)
3. The Sandlot (This movie reminds me of childhood. When I first saw it, I laughed so hard when the fat kid threw up on the Casino at the fair.)
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas (my neighbor took me to see this one. Jack and Sally were cool, I loved the stop motion animation and it introduced me to one of my favorite directors, Tim Burton.)
1. Jurassic Park (My neighbor also took me to it. Every time a dinosaur ate someone, I'd laugh! The storm scene kinda scared me but hey I was 4! I remember it being PG-13? If not R? My neighbor's mom was with us.)
