It’s good to know someone did not think of Crystal Pepsi as the New Coke of the 90s.

Yeah, that was one of their spoof commercials; there were plenty of those over the years. I remember the Crystal Pepsi, btw, and I kinda liked it, but it was probably not too popular overall.

Were you thrown off by how Crystal Pepsi was supposed to be an un-cola like Spite or 7-UP, but it tasted exactly the same as Pepsi? Did you find the yellowish white color it made whenever it went flat to be disgusting? Did you want Crystal Pepsi to have a new formula like New Coke did?

I don’t know because I never tried the stuff. My favorite soda back then was Kick by the Royal Crown company. Last time I saw it was 1998.

Crystal Pepsi tasted just like regular Pepsi but only in seltzer form.

Seltzer does not turn yellowish white when it goes flat, though. The yellowish white tint to Crystal Pepsi is what turned me off of it.

That's what I thought too.

You never tried Crystal Pepsi? You might be able to find some at a gas station. Pepsi brought it back a few years ago.

I did try it.

Didn't I make it clear in my previous post that I liked the stuff? Doesn't that imply that I did consume some?

My apologizes. I did not see your earlier post where you said you kind of liked it.

Did you stumble upon any other clear products in the 90s?

In terms of beverages, not that I know of.

How about you?

I always went with Crystal Pepsi over all of the other clear products in the 90s. After the re-release of Clearly Canadian last year, I selected that.

Clearly Canadian is a product that I haven't heard of. Is/Was it available in the States?

In the 90s, Clearly Canadian was sold at grocery stores. Bed, Bath, and Beyond carries it nowadays.

You’re welcome. I saw more flavors of Clearly Canadian last year, like the Wild Cherry, but all of the flavors are good. I can’t pick one over the others.
