With all the nostalgia for the Late 80's/Early 90's mixed with the Early to Mid 2000's, 1994 kind of feels like a blur right now. What comes to mind when I think of it are the movies Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, and Speed, as well as 3 of the early Jim Carrey comedies (Ace Ventura, Mask, Dumb and Dumber).

It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 310,000 copies in its opening week! "Black Hole Sun" is the band's most popular and recognizable song from the album. I'm glad you're back. You have a rock & roll slant on things that isn't often exhibited here. I can't really complain, it is a "pop culture" site after all, with all that entails, but it's good to have the deeper, "alternative" view, no pun intended.

That's very sweet. Thank you! Thanks for saying that! :)
I agree. A good variety of topics and discussions is what makes the site fun.

This day in 1994, Israel's three decades of occupation in the Gaza Strip ended as Israeli troops completed their withdrawal and Palestinian authorities took over.
