Subject: Liam Gallagher seen on Google Street View

From The Sun

Due to copyright reasons, I cannot display the picture here.

OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER is snapped having a beer at his local — by Google’s new mapping service.

The 36-year-old singer can be seen enjoying a leisurely pint with a pal on Street View.

Liam even spots the Google camera car taking his photo and points at it. Like all members of the public his face is obscured by Google for privacy reasons.

But Oasis fans insisted the man outside The Queens pub in Camden, North London, last June was Liam.

Eagle-eyed Craig Cooper, 45, spotted him while trawling through the revolutionary site in search of stars.

Craig said: “If there’s one man you’d recognise having a pint, it’s Liam Gallagher. He’s often in The Queens. He must be the most high-profile celeb to be caught on Google Street View.”

A band spokeswoman said last night the figure was “very possibly” Liam.

His brother NOEL, 41, said the pair were “stuck in London doing nothing” in June after England failed to qualify for Euro 2008.

Liam can be found on Google Maps by typing in 49 Regent’s Park Road, London.

Craig has set up a Facebook group called The Google Street Mystery hoping others will track down stars.

Campaigners Privacy International have complained about Street View to the Information Commissioner over people being identified.

That's funny!  I like Liam even if he is tempermental.  :)

There have been a lot of odd things picked up by the Google cams. I recall here in the U.S somewhere they captured crimes in a couple of cities.
