Subject: A Poem & Then I'll Shut-Up

Written By: RockandRollFan on 04/24/02 at 09:27 p.m.

I really appreciate ALL of you for the kindness and support that you have given to me.  I JUST had another moment (Which I'm told will be frequent and never-ending) where I just broke down...so in the midst of it, I managed to write this:

                My Heart Becomes So Shattered,
When I Think Of Your Last Day,
If I'd Been Granted Just One Wish,
You'd Have Been Allowed To Stay,

                Searing Pain Flows Through Me,
As I Think Of All That Horror,
In The Very Last Moments You Edured,
I Shall Never In This Life, Hurt More :'(

Your words are always so haunting and heartfelt, RnRFan.  I only wish you didn't have to have had the pain in your life from which to write them.

Hang in there.  You will get through.  You are among friends here.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope Friday brings also some good memories of Blaine to comfort you and bring some happiness to a very sad day.

A truly beautiful poem, on the worst day of your life. How do you find the courage and bravery to even think about it?

My thoughts are with you, R'n'R

Now you know what I want to hear? I want to hear about the one moment you laughed full and loud...I want you to start sharing the joy as well. I think it will help you reconnect with that part of your son, and you deserve it. For me? ;)

Yeah!  That's what I was trying to say in the Walrus and Trolls thread, but you said it better, I guess.  ;)

I went there right after I posted that and saw that, once again, we are on the same wavelength. (Hey, for a hundred an hour I can share my therapist's advice, thank you very much.)

RnRF, we all want you to be honest and open, and I guess BAngel and I are just reminding you that you can be honest about everything and we will join you in joy just as readily as we felt for you in pain.

Thanks for inspiring me to try and feel better...I had NO sleep last night, just like last year, but I feel a little more peaceful with all the kind words that seem to flow out of all of your sensitive and loving hearts. I deeply appreciate each and every one of you, from the bottom of mine  ;)
