Well the explosion has happened since way back then. I can remember just after i first joined (February 4, 2002) when after just a few weeks here I actually posted about my avatar change. It seemed that everyone had thiers and I wanted to add some variety to mine....and I love the fact that everyone, for the most part has enjoyed tinkering with them. Not to knock anyone who has kept the same one but I just choose to change mine quite frequently....but you already know that! :D
