Subject: Smilie Sites

Whenever I go to clicksmilie.com and that other one, my screen gets all messed up and have to restart my computer.  Does this happen to anyone else?  Just jagged bits of the site all over the screen, along with all other unclosed windows.

I had that happen every time I read a post containing one of those smilies.  :o I think it is just one of the smilies - I can read yours with no problem. Are you using IE4.0? All I had to do was restart the browser, not reboot. Minimise and restore any other affected windows.  :)

Yep, IE 4.0.  Right now, I'm planning on checking out some more smilie sites to see if it's not just www.clicksmilie.com and plauder-smilies.com.  Sometimes I only have to restart the browser, mostly re-start the computer.

OK, it looks like ALL smilie sites.   >:( Damn.  Do you think it's because of all the animation going on at once on the screen?

Could be. Looks like the loop to update the screen is chasing its tail until it bites itself in the ass.

It HAS to be a hug!  ;)  Whenever you do, take a picture for me 'cause I have to see that!  ;D

Seriously, I clicked on to www.clicksmilie.com  and got, 'this page cannot be displayed'  http://www.plauder-smilies.de/  works for me. I am not sure why you are having problems?  Try, http://www.planetsmilies.com/index.html are you able to go there??  :)

Are you still getting this problem? I've seen it just now, looking at the messageboard with very little animation. Does it have anything to do with what else or how many other windows you have open? My PC has only 30Mb of RAM. I thought I could be getting short of memory. How about you?

I'm still having that problem.  I'm pretty sure it's not just your computer.
