My favorite store bought is Dreyers Dreamery New York Strawberry Cheesecake.

Locally, when I was growing up I live near a place called Country Boy Dairy.  They made Apple Pie Ice Cream....They made their own ice cream and would put chunks of homemade apple pie in it.  OMG  it was soooooo good.

I buy the half-gallon, $14.00, bucket of Pistachio Almond-nut ice cream and devour it in two sittings. It's weight more costs more than gold and am a total junkie for it. There were two days when I only ate that and nearly disintegrated :-/ (kind of like those fish that one feeds and feeds and feeds until they die...).

Bryer's is the awesomest ice cream on the face of this Earth, IMO. Only second to Haggen-Daz(sp?).  :D

My Favorites:

Natural Vanilla
French Vanilla
Milk-Chocolate

I like almost all flavors of ice cream, except mint.  :P

Oh!!! I just remembered I really enjoy pistachio too! Too bad Bryer's doesn't make it.  :-/

Breyer's Mint Chocolate Chip.

I used to get triple scoop cones at Baskin Robins--one scoop of Jamocha and two scoops of Mint Chocolate chip, and I always made them put the Jamocha scoop in the middle!  ;D

It's by Breyers, I think...a special little "Ice Cream Parlor" type ice cream...it is chocolte malt with little bits and pieces of malt balls in them, along with solid bits of chocolate...indescribably delish!  Putting the shoes on to go get some now...mouth is watering...later! ;)

I LOVE Marble Slab's cheesecake ice cream with cherries (in a waffle cone, of course).  I just had some today (such a rare treat.....).  It is deeeeeeee-licious.

As for store bought, any flavor sherbert and pecan praline (I like ice cream with smooth caramel).  Ben & Jerry's used to make a yummy vanilla-fudge swirl but no longer. :(

Most overrated flavor: Chocolate chip cookie dough. :P I don't know anyone that eat raw cookie dough as a kid. If I bought it, I would melt the ice cream, then put the dough in the oven for a little cookie.

Mmmm, I love raw cookie dough.  I bought a whole tub of it from a fund-raiser, and I didn't bake any of it.

Raw cookie dough is your friend.

I used to also eat raw cake mix as a child.  I still love to lick the beaters and I'm 23 years old.  I guess there are some things you never outgrow.   ;)

We should all be careful with the raw cookie dough and cake batter because they contain raw eggs which could cause salmonella.

How's that for parental advise?! ;D  ;)
