The Everly Brothers (1954-73, 1983-present) is the one that springs to mind. Having not talked to each other for the duration of that ten year gap, they came back to do a two-day (they're both available on CD) Albert Hall tour, they're now touring all over America and next year, coming to the UK.

I think the saddest comeback of all has to be Roy Orbison. In 1988 he was in the Traveling Wilburys with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne. He then dropped dead of a heart attack. His comeback album, "Mystery Girl," was then released, and his best song in 25 years, "You Got It," was the first single. But what if he hadn't dropped dead?

How about Fleetwood Mac...they made a comeback when they released "The Dance" a few years back. Then they were inducted into the RRHOF, and then they just released a new record this week (I think). I'm sad that Christine McVie isn't part of the group anymore; she was my favorite. :(
