(A) The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
(B) On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
(C) The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
(D) The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans
(E) Conclusion: Eat & drink what you like. It's speaking English that kills you

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Note: Speaking of heart attacks, if you drink a lot of tea (any kind), your more likely to survive a heart attack, and I think less likely to even have a heart attack.

That's good.  My mom isn't even buying pop any more, so we've been drinking iced tea in my house like hell.  (I would still rather have pop..) ::)

LOL!!! That is too funny! What a cool joke!

My boss is just back to work after a (mild) heart attack.  He was doing everything right, eating only the "good" foods, not eating the "bad" foods, and getting the "right" amount of exercise, and he had one anyway.  I guess the lesson there is that you can't believe every medical warning you read about, they all contradict each other. You have to talk to your own doctor to see if you are at risk.

Does anyone else remember how tea was supposed to cause cancer back in the 80's?  And now it is supposed to be good for you because is contains anti-oxidents that preventcancer?  Or when eating "oily" fish was bad for you because of all the fat, but now the "oily fish is good for you, because it is the "good" kind of fat? (you mean there is such a thing as "good" fat?  Where??)

When I was a kid, margarine was healthier than butter.  Now, they are both bad for you, but if you must use one, butter is actually healthier (but not by much).

Kat, that's funny you brought up the contradictions about eating "healthy."  I was just talking about that with my mother.  We both came to the same conclusion, "We're going to all die anyway someday, so why not eat what we like, and worry about the consequences later?"  Regardless of how healthy you are, science is always going to find a way to freak you out.  This food is bad for you one day, and good for you the next.  It's never-ending.  ARGH!
