Subject: Favorite Salad Dressing

Written By: CeramicsFanatic on 05/22/02 at 02:03 a.m.

Simple question here.  What is your favorite salad dressing?

Mine is Vinaigrette (or Italian).  :)

I've never cared that much for creamy dressings.

Well Karen I care a lot for Italian, I love the taste and I read the back it is really healthy for the body.
I also love ranch, and there is a dip I like, it is dill, if you haven't tried it, I recommend it.

Honey mustard or Ranch.

Fat free Catalina or French.

Depends on what I'm using it for.

For an actual salad, I prefer Thousand Island, and if that's unavailable, Peppercorn Parmesan.

I like to put Italian dressing on pasta, with chopped fresh tomatoes.

Thousand Island, Creamy Italian, or French make great sandwich spreads.

I eat ranch with everything (well, not everything).  YUM!

Depends on what I'm having it on (I prefer Italian for subs). Blue Cheese and Caesar rank up there as well...

Have you tried it with Mozarella cheese sticks?  That's what started my obsession w/ Ranch.  I, too, eat it w/ chicken, fries, chips...you name it!

Don't know about the eggs, but Ranch dressing is great with bacon. One of the popular sub sandwiches around here is a grilled chicken and bacon ranch (with lettuce and tomato).

For some reason, they put the ranch dressing on the bacon side of the bread, and the lettuce and tomato on the chicken side.

Have you tried dipping pizza in Ranch?  YUMMY!

I like Ranch, but lately I have been hooked on the Chicken BLT Salad at Wendy's and they put this Honey Mustard on it...that is sooooo good.
