The main list will change for me almost daily, but the one that will always be on my list of faves is:

The Crow

Yes, it was very violent, but I always start bawling at the end when Eric and Shelly are reunited.  Also at the part when he exacts his revenge on the third killer and says "feel how awful goodness is".

I also try to keep in mind one other quote from the movie, especially when my daughter is giving me a hard time.

" 'Mother' is the name for God in the hearts and on the lips of all children".

Other movies I like (in no particular order) are:

the Goonies
Clan of the Cave Bear
the Mummy (the recent one with Brendan Frasier)
George of the Jungle
Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte
Arsenic and Old Lace
Interview With The Vampire
My Youth In Arcadia
The Egyptian (from the book of the same name. It's about a poor doctor in ancient Egypt who finds out he was the older brother of the king, and was abandoned to ensure the king became king.  It also suggests that the king was the first "Christian" 3000 years before Christ. Complete work of fiction, but a cool story!)
