R&RF could you give me rundown of where exactly the fire is, I used to live in Conifer, And I heard Bailey and Pine in Park County were evacuated. Wow six mile an hour is fast, How far away was the fire before they left?

Hi, SB.  The fire is called the Haymen fire and is just west of Woodland Park/Divide...close to Lake George.  There is also another big fire in Glenwood Springs called the Coal Seam fire.  As for the firefighters...I heard that the fire was bearing down on them so fast that they had to literally run for thier lives.

Thanks, I did think it was a little wierd that glenwood springs was in danger and they were starting to worry about denver. my parents lived thier for eight years and fortunately never had to evacuate.  I hope the fire Dosen't burn Woodland park. that's a nice town,  so is Glenwood Springs, I hope they stop it before something historical is lost.  The forecast calls for rain tomorow, so hopefully it will be enough to put a huge dent in these fire.

Thanks, J.C.  It rained a bit last night...I was able to open my windows and even run a few miles this morning.  The smoke, as far as around here, is gone for the time being :)

Thanks FB ;) They're asking for volunteers to help with serving food, helping some people move back to thier homes, ect. So keeps those prayers coming.  It is helping as it's cloudy and cool here today.  So as Bo Brady (Circa 1984) would say...I'm Outta Here :)
