Subject: What is your favorite animal or pet?

My favorite pet would be a monkey even though I haven't had one yet, I am going to own one, I can't wait either. They are so adorable and intelligent. I also want a dog and a cat. I like pandas, the ones that are at the zoos. And kangarooes, because they can hop, I don't know why that is a reason, but it is.

Chinese Shar Pei...have always had them..bred them and raised them...have my newest little girl right now....my love..."Bella"....and maybe after another year or so I will have some little Bella's...the only dog I will ever own!!!!!!!!!!
Just asked "aunt" goldie how special this girl is to our family!!!!

I like goldfish. Unfortunately, our goldfish, we believe has slightly lost sight in both his eyes. We still take good care of him, though

I love cats. I had one for 15 years before she died of old age. She was a loving little friend. She could always tell if I was down and would cuddle. I miss my kitty :'(

Favorite animal is the otter; favorite pets would be cats or ferrets.

i'm a cat person. i have two kitties...i did have three, but my baby ashes died before christmas...she was 14. her sister patches (from the same exact litter) is alive and well and being just as cool as ever. and my macy wondercat is awesome, too. i like puppies...i call all dogs puppies. i like cows...they're cool...we have a pet cow. as for non-pet animals that i like...pandas (duh) and elephants, or as i like to call them, efalumps. :D

My dog Blue! And yes people that is really his name. :D And my parakeets and my sister's rat, who enjoys trying to bite people's fingers.

Cats! We have two. Favorite animals would be "big" cats. I am a Leo and one of my favorite things to do is sleep in the sun, could there be a connection?

My favorite pet is a cat. I have not been without at least one since I was 13. I also like pet rats or mice, ferrets, and snakes.
For non-house pets, my favorite animals are horses, ponies, and tigers.
I do *NOT* like wild rats. Yuck!

I love dogs. Had one around pretty much since I was 11.
Percy (German Sheppard/Collie) ran away in 81. Baby (a great hunting Beagle) was stolen in 84. Miss you guys, wherever you are.
Pokey (Boarder Collie) passed away before X-mas of 99. Miss ya, Poker Buddy.
Now, Sugar (Yellow Lab) & Indiana (Chocolate Lab) keep us on our toes.

I'm sorry to hear about all that crap that you've gone through with your pets. Still, I'm sure your current ones are adorable, too.

Our mice had babies a few weeks back. Now we have 10 mice, 2 rats, 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 goldfish and a rabbit. And a spider.

I love all animals. My favorites, though, would be cows, pigs, horses (basic farm yard animals).
For household pets, I love cats. I've had many cats during my lifetime, and they've all been wonderful pets. I currently have two in-door cats - Sam (8 yrs. old) & Destiny (3 yrs. old). I also have an outside cat who, from what I can remember, was born a LONG time ago...probably back in '89. Her name is Snowball aka ball. She has 2 "male suitors" both of whom we have taken ownership. Their names are Grunt and Chicklet.
I've never owned a dog, but I still think they're such awesome creatures. Animals are so precious.

I have a cat named Fern
She is very intuitive - she sits with me when I'm on the computer, unless one of the kids is sick, in which case she lies on their bed with them.
If there is an argument going on in the house she will usually try do de-fuse it by by showing up and rubbing against you and meowing. She has done this time and again !

My favorite animal(s) are:
-pigeons and squirrels.I just love feeding them.Pigeons are weird.everytime I feed them dougnuts,another pigeon tries to block that other one from getting it.And with squirrels,I can make my voice sound like a squirrel call and make it come to me so I can feed it.Their ears"perk up"everytime I call them.They are so cute. -howard- :D

My family has always had dogs, we have 2 right now, Spooky (Black Lab) who is 11 yrs and Lucky (a collie mix) age unknown, my brother named Lucky, said she was "lucky" that we saved her from the pound, they are both outside dogs, always wanted a dog in the house though, maybe if I ever get a place of my own :)

I have two indoor cats, Jacky and Tasha, who always sleep on the bed with us. Jacky sleeps between the pillows. He is 20 years old and sometimes at night I wake up to find his face inches from mine --just staring at me! ::)
I also have three outdoor cats, Cecily and Ursula and Clay; they are very affectionate and like to "help" whenever I do yard work, but usually they end up backing my hand into a cactus! :o
All of our cats are old, Clay being the youngest -- she is only 10.
We also have a guinea pig named Gaverigan, who throws a hissy fit every night if he doesn't get a carrot for an after dinner snack!
And we also have a bouncing-off-the-walls dog, Oliver, whose aim in life is to try and reduce all of my furniture to kindling, and my potted plants to mulch.... ::)

This brings to mind my dog. When we had a sectional couch, our dog would either hang off the back of it, or jump over it. Also, when he was a pup, he enjoyed chewing on my mom's end tables. Needless to say, she wasn't too happy about that. :) He hasn't touched the houseplants, though.

Cats are not lazy..they just don't want to be bothered. ;)

I am a lover of all creatures great and small, but I frown at having a pet. There's nothing worse than really getting attached to a pet and having it "leave" you. I haven't really had a pet since I left home in 1985.
