Hairsprays 'Salsa Fries' thread got me thinking, what type of snack food does everyone enjoy? Chip wise I like Lime Tostitos the best, Candy wise I like Good and Plentys

Well, I love Baked Lay's potato chips and I don't eat candy. That's scary, huh? :o

Mesquite Grill potato chips and just about anything chocolate (especially brownies).

Pretzels, especially nacho cheese or honey mustard. Also, cheese and crackers.
On second thought, cheese in general. ;)
And Doritos of any flavor. ;)

Aside from the Salsa Fries, I am a total "chocoholic". Chocolate anything will do it for me. ;D

Chicken in a Basket crackers or French Onion Triscuits! Don't come near me after I've eaten them, though! Not until I've brushed my teeth. Those things are potent!!! ;D

Dill flavored potato chips for salty snacks, and almost any combination of peanut butter and chocolate for sweet stuff.

Nacho flavored Combos, and for candy I have to go with Good 'n Plenties also. And I can actually remember when the box was pink, white and black, instead of pink, white and purple.... ::)

I am a total popcorn addict!! I can't even smell the stuff or I've GOT to have some....and I like it the old fashioned way..fresh hot-air popped with butter (not the fake crap they use at the theatres...and not margarine) and salt....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
Great...now I gotta have popcorn for lunch!

For salty, I prefer popcorn, but I also like Yukon Gold potato chips. They are sliced a little bit thicker than ordinary chips.
Two new items have popped up in natural food stores, and the organic foods section of the local supermarket. I am totally addicted to these new types of chips. One is blue/purple potato chips, made from potatos that are naturally purple. They taste almost exactly the same, but are also sliced a bit thicker than regular chips, and use slightly less salt.
The other one I've become enamored of, is chips made from other tubers. That is, taro root, sweet poatoes, yucca root, parsnips and batata. They are too good to be believed!
For sweets, anything chocolate will do it, with M&M's being the current favorite.

I cut down majorly on what I used to eat and I exercise like crazy. It killed me at first not to eat like I used to, but now that I see the results, I'm quite happy. :)

I don't have a favorite kind of snack food. Once in a while I'll get on a kick for a certain thing, and that's all I'll want for a few days or so, and then I won't want to eat it again for a loooooooooong time.
Right about now I'd like some homemade apple pie with Legend velvet vanilla ice cream. Instead, I'll just drink my ice water.
Oh, and speaking of snack food - before I forget:
This Wednesday through Friday, I'm having an "all you can eat" popcorn event at my house. ;) Anyone in the Greater Vancouver area who loves popcorn is welcome to attend...

Just about any chips. I love Fudge Striped Cookies, too. But I can't have too much chocolate at a time.. makes me sick. :P (Don't you guys envy me?? ;D)
For candy, I love Reese's of any kind.
For pop, I've been drinking that flavored carbonated water you get at Wal-Mart (Sam's Choice brand), which I really think tastes like pop!, Coke, Slice, and Dr Slice.

You sound like me - I eat popcorn daily. I am absolutely addicted to buttery, salty popcorn - the more butter and salt, the better. Wal-Mart has awesome bags of popcorn. The bags are huge and they last for days. I, on the otherhand, love theatre popcorn. My main reason for going to movies is to eat the popcorn. Even if I've just eaten a huge meal, I still get popcorn.
Besides my popcorn addiction, I also love salsa and chips - the kind at Mexican restaurants, carrots w/ ranch dressing (actually, anything with Ranch dressing is fine with me), steamed vegetables (I love ALL vegetables)...um, I just realized I love way too many snack foods to list. So, I'll list these few and move on. ;) I will add that I mainly like salty foods - occasionally I'll eat something sweet, but only if there's nothing salty around.

Well, my "cravings" can change almost daily..but, in general I really like white cheddar popcorn. I also like tortilla chips and nacho sauce, especially when hubby and I watch movies at night. I also like to warm up the french fries, pile them up with cheese and pour some ranch dressing... ;D
But, then again, on any given day I'll really just want tiger tails or ding dongs.....mmmm..... ;)

One of my favorite snacks is spicy rice crackers. And the good thing about them is that they're fat free!!! ;D

I didn't say I didn't like theatre popcorn...just the imitation butter they use....I agree...I will order popcorn even after a large meal....and *highfives* on the ranch dressing!! I too am a lover of anything Ranch...including Ranch Dorito's...I haven't tried the Wal-Mart popcorn...I hope you're careful of the falling prices when you shop there...heheee....

Me too! The only thing I can think of as a favourite snack food would probably be Baskin Robbins's pistachio almond ice cream. Pretty much every pay day I buy the half gallon bucket and eat until I get sick and 14 daze later I do the same ;D I should just strap on one of those horse's lunch bags and viciously devour the stuff :o :o :o
