Subject: My Cat's Back Home

Written By: Indy Gent on 06/25/02 at 07:28 p.m.

After a scary Sunday, I picked my cat up from the 24 veternary clinic tonight. The vet switched foods from the dry to the canned K/D food. And she also got him off of the amoxsacillin my regular vet gave him. And I have to set up another appointment in 10-14 days. It cost me a small (more like medium) fortune, but it was worth keeping him alive longer. I hope he doesn't have another relapse. He's only 17. ;)

J.C., I'm glad to hear your kitty's doing better. And 17 is not old. My one cat is presently 20, and I had another who lived to be 21. :)

Yeah! I'm sure your kitty is happy to be home and away from the nasty vet. How could you stand being without him?

That's great news, J.C.!  He should still have a few more lives left!  Give him lots of love and affection and I'm sure he'll be just fine.  ;)

I hope this vet is not nasty. My cat seemed to like the staff at the clinic. But ever since he had that head injury with my sister's car 2 years ago, he seems to need comfort from everyone. And doesn't care who gives it to him. But all the blood work and x-rays proved negative. So, hopefully he'll have a clean bill of health in 2 weeks. :)
