Subject: Songs That Sound The Same

Name some songs you think sound the same, but aren't covers/samples/parodies.

To me, NIN's "Closer" sounds like Weird Al's "Germs" (which is an original, not a parody.)

Shakira's "Underneath Your Clothes" sounds like The Bangle's "Eternal Flame."

However, the DVD I have of Weird Al live in concert shows him dressing up as Trent Reznor to perform that song, so at the very least it's a style parody.

there was a hair band from the late 80s or early 90s whose songs all sounded the same...i can't remember the exact name, but it was something like firehouse or along that line.

IMO, most Rap sounds the same...it's All bad....and by "Bad" I mean the actual meaning from the Websters dictionary.

Which reminds me, why didn't she use "Pomp And Circumstance"? That is the graduation song. "Canon in D" sounds so out of place here.
