My aunt broke her hip really bad a couple of years ago, and it was replaced with metal. A couple of weeks ago, it started bothering her, so she went to the doctor. It turns out that a screw or something broke off, causing it to become infected (gangrene), and needing to be amputated. There is a slim chance that she may be able to keep her leg, but the doctor she saw was highly doubtful of that happening. She has to go see a specialist on Wednesday in San Francisco. I will let everyone know what happens. Just pray for her, because she is having the dark thoughts about what would happened if she dies on the operating table.

I will remember your aunt in my prayers and hope that she can save her leg. All of my aunts are either sick or not in peak physical health. So I hope that you will pray for them too. :'(

Well, here's an update, and I guess it is good news (in a way). She saw the doctor today and they decided to run some tests on her leg. They will be drawing fluid out of her leg, and she will know more in two weeks. I guess that's a good sign because if it were any worse, they would have decided to amputate it right away. I'd like to thank everyone for their prayers and support and I will let you know more in two weeks.

I'll be keeping her in my prayers, and thank you for the update.  I'm glad to know she's doing better.

New development: They found some sort of bacteria in her leg, so instead of two weeks, she'll be seeing the doctor next Wednesday.
