We've been using our AOL CDs as coasters.  They make very nice coasters.

I get them given to me at the station on my way home - it goes into the next rubbish bin, which by this stage is half full of them.

As a public service, I take as many as I can from the bin at Wal-mart, take them home, and ONLY after scratching them (Rendering them more useless than normal) I toss them like mini-frisbee's into my trash can :D

Any more I've been getting them in the mail packed in DVD cases.  I've got a whole stack of DVD cases that once contained those friggin' AOsmelL discs.

They are actually quite useful, though, whenever one of my cd cases breaks (computer and music) I just put it in there and label it with masking tape.  It's better than the flat little cardboard squares they are wrapped on, although they are smaller and easier to throw  away.

I've been using them as coasters too, or suncatchers.  But now I'm going to send them to these guys.  I get at least one every month, usually more.
