I brought home a nice southern tradition to Sweden too, my whole family LOVES the pecan pie. YUMMY!

I like all types of pie. But my favorite is still lemon merange, which is the only pie my dad can't make. I also like Boston cream, but I consider it more of a cake than a pie. :-/

I was just thinking about pie earlier today. Apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top....French Silk Pie, chocolate pie, banana creme pie, and Boston Creme Pie...may have to go get a slice tonight...

I love tropical flavored pies...i.e. banana cream or coconut cream. I like to make the coconut cream with fresh coconut, but don't have a lot of time for that these days with young kids. :(

I love pie. I prefer it over cake anyday! My fave pies are coconut creme, lemon meringue and Derby pie, like my grandmother used to make for Kentucky Derby day!!! :D

Sure, I like pie. Homemade, of course. My friend's grandmother told me every good woman should be able to make pie crust from scratch without measuring anything; and then taught me how to do it. When the pastry is THAT good, it doesn't much matter what flavour the pie is!

My all-time fav. desert is cheese cake. New York style is the best! Oh my gosh, I am so hungry for cheesecake. Ya know what, though, that's about it for my sweet tooth. I would rather salty food like potato chips or salad w/ ranch dressing or roast beef w/ gravy or mashed potatoes or ...
I better stop! I think I've put on 50 lbs. just from talking about all of that stuff. ;)
