Subject: Fun stuff - The # 1 song on your day of birth...

Written By: FussBudgetVanPelt on 08/22/02 at 06:24 a.m.

This is good for a laugh !

They say that the #1 song on the day you were born is your theme song for the rest of your life (this could be fortunate, or not...!!)

The following link tells you the song that was #1 on the US and UK charts on the day you were born.

It won't work unless you put in an e/mail address of some description, so just use :

ralph@hotmail.com

If you want you can post here what your songs were and whether they reflect you to date or not........

For myself  On my day of birth I was indeed
Tossin and Turnin by Bobby Lewis in The US

In the UK it was Temptation by The Everly Brothers

In both the US and UK the #1 song the day I was born was "Young Love" by Tab Hunter, the hunk du jour of 1957.  Actually I prefer the version by Sonny James but Tab's version wasn't all that bad…

Mine:

Everything Is Beautiful by Ray Stevens

and

Yellow River by Christie

Well, I guess everything was beautiful for my mother (I was a very easy birth) and with babies, it's just one yellow river after another.

I would have to say for a measure of quality so far it would have to be a toss up between Ceramics Fan and Howard's birth songs, although I am leaning a little towards Ceram, as the Righteous Brothers really do outweigh Terry Jacks.

For sheer kinkiness, Zella's take the cake.....
