BTW:  Did you know Canada is south of Detroit?  Really!

I love Canada...was proud when they won the 2002 hockey Olympic gold :)  I'm toying with the idea of getting dual citizenship so I can be Canadian and American...I go up there a lot even though I'm in CA :)

I wish to do that too. Sadly, I can't afford dual citizenship. I can barely afford US citizenship. :-/

i'm canadian (nf) , and i've never heard anyone use 'eh' without making it a joke... same with 'aboot'..

My aunt started saying "eh" regularly when she moved to Toronto...and she's a native Chinese.  I think it's contagious.  And I don't think it's a joke, at least 70% of the people I've ever met in the Toronto area, and even some French-Canadians, say "eh".

Even though I am American, I do have some Canuk in me. My Ancesters settled in what they thought was Canada. After a border disbute, they ended up being in the U.S. So, I guess, in a way, I'm an American by default. lol (But that was on my mother's side of the family. My dad's side is another story.)
