Subject: What's the song?

What's the song that really makes you feel  happy everytime you listen to it, you know, that one song that makes you want to dance while you're flipping pancakes in the morning?

A-Ha - Take on Me

Those songs take me back to the 80s - good times!

Somewhere In My Heart, Aztec Camera (I'm sure people were expecting that response), The Beach Boys' Warmth Of The Sun, Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Back Down (All Summer Long, The Beach Boys) and so on. These are bound to make me feel so much better.

Hmmm...

The two un-danceable songs that keen me are--

Crack in the Universe by Wayne Kramer and Empty Glass by Pete Townshend.  I think it's got something to do with the opening power chords..... oh, yeah, and Richard Thompson's MGB-GT offa Mirror Blue.... course, you can't dance to that either but Mitchell Froom produced it so it rules percussion-wise... so..... what really happened to Amelia Earhart, anyway?

Songs that make me happy and songs that make me want to dance are really two different catigories for me. The songs that make want to dance are basically the ones that,-you know, "It has a good beat and you can dance to it." That doesn't mean I don't dance when I hear my "happy" songs.

The songs that make me happy are (not in any order):

Don't Stop Me Now-Queen
I'm OK-Styx
Like a Prayer-Madonna
Smooth-Santana
(of course) La Isla Bonita-Madonna
