Subject: What's the Song? Part 2

Written By: Junior on 09/09/02 at 05:07 p.m.

Well, we covered songs that make you get up and dance...

so, what songs make you think of "the good ol' days"? Ya know, what songs influenced you and your friends so much, that everytime you hear that song, you think of them?

Here are some of mine:

Alicia Keys "Fallin'"
City High "What Would You Do"
DMX "Party Up (Up In Here)"
Eminem "Cleanin Out My Closet"
J. Lo & Ja Rule "I'm Real (Remix)"
JD & Ludacris "Welcome To Atlanta"
Ludacris "Move"
Nelly "Hot In Herre"
OutKast "Ms Jackson"
Petey Pablo "Raise Up"
Shakira "Underneath Your Clothes"
Tweet "Oops (Oh My)"
Usher "U Got It Bad"
"Lean On Me"
Blink-182 "All The Small Things"
Linkin Park "In The End"
Sum41 "Fat Lip"

are all songs that remind me of my friends and school, because I remember times in class or at dances/parties, where we'd sing these songs along together, or where we made our own little parodies to songs.

"I'm sorry, llama..." ;D

"Electric Slide"
"I Say A Little Prayer"
"Flower Girl" (not sure if that's the title, but I know the tune)
Vanessa Carlton "A Thousand Miles"
No Doubt "Don't Speak"
John Mayer "No Such Thing"
Jimmy Eat World "The Middle"
Avril Lavigne "Complicated"
Aaliyah "Try Again"
Biz Markie "Just A Friend"
Fat Joe "What's Luv"
J. Lo & Ja Rule "Ain't It Funny (Remix)"
Mary J Blige "Family Affair"
Nelly "#1"
Shaggy "It Wasn't Me"
Shaggy "Angel"
"Just The Two Of Us (Dr. Evil Remix)"
Eric Cartman "Come Sail Away"
Weird Al "Amish Paradise"

all may me think of other various things, including family, and elementary school...

God, my songs are so much older than Junior's  :-TnT - AC/DC (reminds me of a friend whom I've known forever)
Rock and Roll is a Vicious Game - April Wine (reminds me of my older brother who would crank this record every day at lunch as he was making me soup  :) )
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd - good, good memories  ;)
One More Time - Streetheart - reminds me of my best guy friend and our first high school dance together
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynard Skynard - reminds me of my very best friend because she fainted at an outdoor concert as Lynard Skynard was playing this song.

And all these people think of me whenever they hear Me and Bobby McGee or Switching to Glide.
