Subject: Favorite keyboard players?

Written By: My_name_is_Kenny on 10/19/02 at 11:21 p.m.

You know Ben Folds?  Frontman for Ben Folds Five, recently went solo, had a hit in 1997 with "Brick"?  Well, he's my god.  When I grow up, I want to be just like him.

Other favorite keyboardists are Jackson Browne, Ray Manzarek of the Doors, Elton John, and Benmont Tench from Tom Petty's band, who doesn't get nearly enough credit.

Yours?

I have been racking my brain trying to think of someone that no one else had mentioned.  Obviously I wasn't thinking hard enough.  I love Gregg Giuffria.  Good choice.  (I did not mention David Bryan because I knew you would, surprise surprise. ;))

I was a pretty big fan of Angel and so when he went solo in the 80s I was really hoping he'd do well...

Hmm, well I'm not much into keyboard players (kinda ironic isn't it?) but I'd say......Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.

LMFAO!!!!  I had lost track of this thread.  Everyone else had already mentioned most of my favorite keyboard players, so I wasn't going to post.

But you remembered my favorite one of all!!  ;D  ;D

And please don't forget Rolf (the dog).  He's one of the oldest Muppets, if not THE oldest.
