Subject: Peanuts- the Cartoon

Written By: Race_Bannon on 10/28/02 at 01:50 a.m.

My wife mentioned that she caught the Peanuts "Great Pumkin" cartoon and how she would always get exited when those came on as a kid.

What a screwed up program that was!  My gawd those kids were a mess, they were mean and vindictive. The cartoon was in very colorless and slow paced, got me to thinking Where are the now?
Charley Browns self esteem was below mud, he probably is living on the street sipping on fortified wine, Lucy became a dominatrix, Linus died from Aids, Patty is some running some Lesbian church with her "life partner"  Marci.  Shroeder's life was loosely portrayed in the move 'Shine".  And Snoopy? Died in a trajic dog house crash that the NTSB is still investigating.

Sorry your dead Charles Shultz but I don't think your shows did us much good.

My avatar represents the username, not the individual behind it !  So I am most definitely a dude, rather than dudette !  Let there be no mistake......

You will need to take your PVC boots to another stable......

I will be retaining the riding crop IN CASE you come near me...

Also, do you see what that Peanuts cartoon has led us too?

Who took the free out of television?  There was a time when you could count for sure on all the season specials being shown on free, network and indy television stations.  Now, you have to buy a cable or satellite package, subsidize and pay for a bunch of stations you never watch, and hope to catch them there.  Grrrrr....  >:(
