Subject: Coolest EBay Purchase

What's the coolest thing you've ever bought off EBay?

I've bought a couple of things that made me chortle contentedly.  I bought a Tommy Hilfinger king size comforter for $49.00, and a two-foot tall mask -- rough carved out of wood from a tribe from the northwestern United States.  The coolest thing I haven't bought is a Buster Keaton life-mask.  They have a lot of life masks on the site and usually sell them in a dutch auction.

I was going to spring for a DeLorean but I couldn't be sure of the quality of said DeLorean, so I passed on it...I bought a George W. and a Mr. T bobblehead doll, those were great fun.

The coolest things I bought were an autographed picture of John Cusack and a Rolling Stone magazine signed by all 6 members of Linkin Park.

"Listen" by a Flock of Seagulls on CD (so I don't have to try and convert my scratchy record to a CD).. the printed congressional hearings of the Iran Contra scandal, all 50 volumes of testimony.. for when I decide to become one of those loners who thinks the government is out to get me..

I've got to ask -- what did the transcripts cost?  I picked up a Senate published one-volume chronology of Watergate at an estate sale for $2.00.

it was $50.. but I had to pick them up in Maryland.. fortunately, my father was going down there that weekend, so I didn't have to worry about mailing them or anything (would have cost a small fortune if I had to mail them).. the guy I got them from actually worked on the investigation

That's a gooood deal.  I've tried browsing in e-bay books but they're usually running about 500 pages worth of auctions a day, which is way too many to try to wade through.
