She has been MIA for quite some time now........anyone heard from her lately? ???

All I know, Tx, was that MW is no longer a moderator. I don't know if she quit all of a sudden, or she was expelled because either she wasn't doing her job or wrote post that were offensive to Chuck or Hairspray. :-/

Well, TX, I've been wanting her to come back. I know she was here in early October. You see, every time she comes around, my PM box is filled with love letters. I finally got around to looking at all the picture posts, and I find the picture she linked us to on the 1980's picture thread shows a lovely lady in a sexy dress holding a dozen roses. The "WWW" link on her posts is supposed to lead to a site of a 1997 Miss Nude Vancouver pageant she was in, and I suppose there would be nude pictures of her, but unfortunately, the link is broken. But she looks good with clothes on. I would love to meet her, seeing that she's not married (southernspitfire/cricket/youngcricket says she has a boyfriend who posted here under the name "Mr Yuk." But he hasn't posted here since January.) But she lives too far away and I can't leave home as my dad is sick and I hate to leave him here by himself…

I'm guessing she was taken off the moderator list because she's not been here. I'm also guessing she could/will be reinstated when she gets back.
I went and looked at her "last 50" posts the other day, and she didn't say anything about taking an extended vacation.
I think the website in her profile is meant to be a joke. ;) ;)
Does anyone have her e-mail address? Or talked to her?

I didn't "fire" her... she had told me awhile ago (a few months at least) that she had a hard time getting online to visit the site like she used to.. unfortunately Hairspray was having problems making it online around the same time too.. so it was almost like having no moderators at that point.. but they both told me they would get things straightened out and be back.. Hairspray is indeed back full time, but after a few brief apperances MW seems to have stopped altogether...
I removed her moderator access since she really isn't around to be able to do the moderator role.. if she's able to start spending time here on a regular basis again, and I need another moderator again, I'd gladly re-instate her role.. but for now she's not a moderator.. I'm not mad at her or anything, I just don't want people to be sending her stuff that is moderator related (please check this thread, or why am I having a problem type messages) if she's not going to be around to answer them..
things have been quiet on the site, so I don't really think I need to replace her or anything..
I should have posted a message about this after I decided to remove her moderator role, but I was pretty busy around the time I did it, and I wasn't really sure what to say about it either.. on the one hand, I feel bad about taking away her privlidges if she's got a valid reason for not being here, but on the other hand, she hasn't told me how long she planned on being away or when she planned on returning to normal...

Yes, I do...unless she moved. I haven't heard from her for a long time either. I did get an anonymous birthday gift dropped off for me at work and I'm positive it was from her but no note or nothin'...I've PM'd her and gotten no response either. If I do happen to see her while Christmas shopping (I tend to use the mall closest to her house) I will definitely let her know you all miss her...
