About 45 days ago I asked for and recieved prayers from many of you concerning the fact that my family had just found out that my father had contracted prostate cancer and again asked when he started radiation treatments. Although I was still somewhat a "newbie", many of you made me feel like a part of a family by assuring me we (my "real" family) were in your thoughts and prayers. I haven't been on the board nearly as much as I used to be lately, but I haven't forgotten how much that meant to me at the time.
Dad takes his last of 39 treatments today and everything is looking even better than could have been expected. I can't express how much strength y'all gave me at the time and just wanted you to know that it will never be forgotten. ;)

It's good that he's at the end of his chemo! It sounds as if he has the will of a bear! I'll be praying for him too! ;D 8)
