Subject: And the pop-ups attack...

This is starting to get pathetic...pop-ups, I mean.

I went to a friggin' site today, and I had my pop-up killer (thank goodness for that) on. Well, all of a sudden, I get one of those little error-kinda boxes.

"POP UP KILLER DETECTED!

Please deactivate your pop-up killer or this message will persist on each page of this site."

ARGH!

That's pathetic, I was ready to kick my computer.

The world of pop-ups has hit a new low.

what can I say except that they suck. The worst part is there is nothing we can do about them unless we get the government involved in regulating the internet (we wouldn't want thata, would we?).

This site once had pop-ups.  I have a popup remover installed but once it didn't work.  Found out spyware was installed that was forcing them to pop up regardless.  Removed the spyware, never had the problem again.

So, if everybody hates pop-ups and closes them immediately, why do advertisers still use them?
