Where do you work ?? I hope they are paying you serious overtime !
Still 2 and a half hours till midnight here. My first night home in many years - too sick to go out. And I am really miffed cos they arent televising the Sydney fireworks for the first time in ages - and i was all set to sit down and watch them with a vodka (medicinal purposes of course).

I work in the Operations Centre of an emergency service. The fireworks were cool. We were watching them on the big screen here, but perhaps not quite as spectacular as the past few years.

I sincerely hope you guys have no nasty emergencies to keep you busy all night - thats the kind of job where you would have your fingers crossed for a boring night.
Perth is very dull on NYE - we save our fireworks till Australia Day. To me NYE is not NYE without fireworks :(
