Subject: the trials of Job

Written By: langdon_hughes on 01/12/03 at 00:17 a.m.

Flat tires, sick cats, no phone (still... I'm pirating off the previous leaser of the house who STILL HASN'T TURNED HIS OFF YET), misrouted stuff, but I'm here. So I'm back. From Southern California to Southern Oregon. I forgot about the rain.

All right, all right, I know, I know, I'm starting to answer them right now....

Welcome back, Langdon.

Check the cable, too.  If the electricity is still connected, the cable may still be operating, too.  I've known people who've had free cable for years because of cable company negligence.

Glad you made it back.  Congrats on the free electricity.  Hope the cats recover soon.  Don't go in to culture shock (LA to Oregon :o).  Welcome "home"!

L.A. to Oregon is nothing. Try going from the Northeast to L.A. Going through 4 different time zones, from mountains to desert and just about everything in between. We didn't have too much in the way of events on the way. We just had to go the southern route in Texas due to snow. But it is always good to be back home. "Oh, Toto. There is no place like home."
