Subject: What Is Your Best Parody And Or Written Document?

Written By: The_Ghetto_John on 01/18/03 at 06:13 p.m.

i thought of this topic for parody authors, but i realized that not everyone writes parodies, so i figured surely some of you write something. but as for me, im going to post a sample of my newest, and what i truly believe is my greatest parody i have ever written.

"Who's This Secret Lover?"
Parody Of "Champagne Super Nova" by Oasis

"How many bottles did i drink?
how many hours did i sleep?
who are you, what did we do last night?
did i meet you in the bar?
did i kiss you in the car?
who are you, what did we do last night?

Whos this girl beside me?
laying here by my side?
tell me who's this secret lover by my side?
Whos this girl beside me?
laying here by my side?
tell me who's this secret lover?
who's this secret lover by my side?"

so what about you guys?

Man, it's so hard to choose from 70-some parodies which ones are my best... but those are some of my faves. :)

Oh, be sure to tell me which ones you voted on, and which ones are your faves.   ;)

I got more, just go search for parody author "Rice Cube"...

As for something I wrote, back in 10th grade I wrote a 16-page paper in less than 2 hours and got an A for it.  Go figure.

There's too many... my favourites change from day to day, but I like this one most:

...although not hilariously funny, it has humour and a modicum of wit, good use of words and the original song but most of all a worthwhile message.

For sheer wordplay, the "Bare Celebrities" parody has to come in there - not meaning to be too immodest, but it's a corker (:-))

It's a shame this one didn't make it past Chucky to amiright, but http://www.whatfreaks.com/90s/disneythelittlemermaid0.shtml is damn near perfect...
